About

Technical enough to build it. Business-savvy enough to know what matters.

The Short Version

I've spent 8+ years building enterprise software, from VR rehabilitation systems to AI-powered legal platforms. I've worked at startups, Accenture, and Meta. I co-founded a GenAI consultancy that's shipped 11 production systems.

I'm a software engineer who learned to speak business. I can sit in a boardroom and understand what a company actually needs, then go build it. That combination is why what I build gets used.

The Longer Version

I started my career building VR rehabilitation software for post-stroke patients at a healthcare startup. That work led to 3 published papers and a patent. It also taught me that technology is useless if it doesn't solve a real problem for real people.

From there, I moved to Accenture, where I led development on enterprise XR applications: VR training for Goodwill (workforce reentry for justice-involved individuals), safety simulations for energy companies, and 3D field operations tools. I learned how enterprises adopt technology: slowly, carefully, and only when they trust it.

At Meta, I served as Technical Program Manager for their internal XR solutions, deploying 5,000+ Quest devices as part of a 20,000-employee rollout. I coordinated across security, legal, product, and engineering. I learned what it takes to ship at scale.

When generative AI emerged, I saw the same pattern I'd seen with VR/AR: transformative technology that most businesses had no idea how to actually deploy. So I co-founded Augmented AI Labs to bridge that gap.

Since then, I've shipped 11 production AI systems across financial services, legal, healthcare, commercial real estate, and public health. Document processing that saves 22,000+ hours annually. Natural language analytics for billion-dollar firms. Contract review platforms used by 14 organizations. Real systems, in production, solving real problems.

How I Work

I'm not a contractor who writes code to spec. I embed with your team, understand your business, and figure out what actually needs to be built. Sometimes that's custom software. Sometimes it's implementing and configuring existing tools. I'll tell you which one you need.

The best projects I've worked on started with a business problem:

  • "Our team spends 40 hours a week on this manual process."
  • "We can't get insights from our data fast enough."
  • "Our customers keep asking for this capability."

That's where I start. From there, I handle the full lifecycle: discovery, evaluation, prototyping, implementation, and adoption. I've done this enough times to know what works and what doesn't.

What I Build With

Languages & Frameworks: Python (FastAPI, Flask), JavaScript/React, TypeScript, C#/.NET, SQL

AI & LLM: OpenAI GPT models, Anthropic Claude models, Google Gemini models, RAG architectures, LangChain, Azure AI Search, OpenSearch, vector databases

Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure (my default for enterprise), AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth/Azure AD

But I'm not religious about tools. The right stack depends on your constraints, your team, and what you're trying to accomplish. I use what makes sense.
